This morning, some Calabasas campuses in Las Virgenes Unified Schoool District (including AC Stelle Middle School and Calabasas High School) were placed on lock down. A hit and run accident took place on Topanga Canyon, with the passengers running through the campus of AC Stelle. As is procedure for LVUSD, the schools went on Lockdown as a precaution.

The suspects have been apprehended. Schools have returned to normal.

Parents were notified by all calls and emails by principals. If your children are at those schools, and you were not notified, please call your school office and update your emergency contact information. And, if you are at any school (LVUSD or otherwise), and have recently changed your phone, email, cell phone, or address, you should contact your school to update emergency contact information as well.
