At approximately 12:40pm today, the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station received a call from Sumac Elementary School in Agoura Hills that a student had seen a female with a gun on Eagleton, a street very close to the school.

The school was immediately put on lockdown to secure the safety of the students while Sheriff's deputies searched the campus and surrounding streets. the female in question was reportedly in a brown truck.

After searching the area and requesting a helicopter unit to respond, deputies were unable to locate the possible suspect. Deputies interviewed multiple witnesses in the area, and no one claimed to have seen the female or the gun.

Deputies determined that there was no threat to the area, and the lockdown has been lifted.
