The City of Westlake Village has announced the following:

City to Host October 12 Public Workshop on Proposed Improvements Along Lindero Drainage Channel

The City is hosting a public outreach session to review and to receive public comments on the proposed improvements along the drainage channel located on the east side of Lindero Canyon Road. This public workshop will take place in an “open house” format on Saturday, October 12 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Westlake Village Civic Center.

The proposed improvements may include a walking path, additional screening of the channel and the property behind the channel, and enhanced landscaping. These improvements may also include the removal of some of the existing trees and shrubs to create a safe pathway, addition of signage and various surface treatments, and possible seating along the meandering path.

For additional information on the proposed project, contact John Knipe, City Engineer at 818-706-1613.
