There are two things today that area residents should remember.

1) Agoura High School is working with Burgerwerkz Charbroil Grill to raise money for a safe and sober Grad Nite. 15% of your total purchase (before tax) goes to Grad Nite. Burgerwerkz is new to Westlake Village and has a variety of salads, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken sandwiches. Show the flyer enclosed for the donation. 30869 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Westlake Village. (Corner of Thousand Oaks Blvd. & Lindero Cyn - in the Baja Fresh Shopping Center).

2) The EPA is presenting tonight it's "EPA Malibu Creek Workshop" now set for Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30 pm, at Agoura Hills City Hall. The proposed standards are now projected at $8050 per water district customer, plus additional for ongoing operating and management expenses. In other words, your monthly water bill is projected to increase by at least $78 per bill for the next 30 years. Anyone attending tonight's meeting is encouraged to voice opinions, or better yet, ask questions of the water district and the EPA.
